Commissions
A commissioned painting is an opportunity to create something deeply personal. An artwork that captures a place, memory or atmosphere that holds meaning for you.
Whether it's inspired by a favourite coastline, a much-loved landscape, or the feeling of standing beneath an expansive sky, I'll work closely with you to create a painting that reflects your connection to that place while remaining true to my artistic style.
The Process
Every commission begins with a conversation. We'll discuss your ideas, the location or inspiration, preferred size, colour palette and where the painting will live.
From there I'll:

Agree the size, format and price

Gather reference photographs and discuss the mood or feeling you'd like the painting to evoke

Create the painting in my signature style, keeping you updated at key stages

Arrange collection or delivery once the work is complete

Rather than creating an exact photographic copy, I aim to capture the atmosphere, light and emotional connection to place, resulting in an original artwork that feels both personal and timeless.
Timescales
Commission times vary depending on the size of the painting and my current schedule. If you have a particular deadline (such as wedding, anniversary or birthday gift) please let me now when you get in touch, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
Pricing
The cost of a commission depends on the size and the complexity of the work. Prices are comparable with my existing original paintings, and a 50% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payable on completion.
